Suppression Systems & Room Integrity Testing

Our Suppression Systems & Room Integrity services offer vital protection to your business critical computer rooms, data centres, plant rooms and associated high risk areas.

Suppression Systems

These systems are specifically designed to offer the correct level of protection and it is therefore essential that the correct gas, co-incidence automatic detection and warning devices are selected to suit the application.

Extinguishing gases available include Argonite, Inergen, Proinert, IG55, FM200, FE25, HFC 227ea, FE25, Novec 1230 and CO2 and we will always offer a detailed bespoke design which best suits your requirements.

Room Integrity Testing

An essential requirement of any Suppression System is the ability for the room in which it is installed to retain the gas concentration for a sufficient period of time to suppress the fire.

If the room leaks, the gas will escape before the fire is effectively controlled. An enclosure integrity test must be conducted both upon system installation and annually thereafter as part of the routine maintenance schedule.

Our Room Integrity Testing calculates the effectiveness of a room. It predicts how long the extinguishing agent will remain at the correct concentration to effectively suppress the fire. If this falls below that required by the Standard, a detailed inspection is carried out to identify all major leakages for remedial sealing. A formal report is issued detailing the results and any recommendations.
